According to European Commission, «Technology Transfer (TT) refers to the process of conveying results stemming from scientific and technological research to the marketplace and to wider society, along with associated skills and procedures, and is as such an intrinsic part of the technological innovation process».

Behind this process, which involves many factors, including human and organizational ones, is the ability to produce good or high-quality research. This is the goal that leads INRIM staff activities every day and enables us to return to society the results of our scientific and technological activities.
