This software provides three regression techniques for fitting (fractional) polynomial curves:
- Ordinary least-squares regression (OLS)
- Weighted least-squares regression (WLS)
- Weighted total least-squares regression (WTLS)
This software is the main deliverable of task D1.3.5 Software for calibration problems developed and tested of the EMRP project Novel mathematical and statistical approaches to uncertainty evaluation (EMRP NEW04).

The software provides a tool for advanced mass standards calibrations. It allows to perform calibrations for the mass scale realisation. However, its versatility and user-friendly graphical interface make it appropriate also for simple one-to-one calibrations. The methodology applied is based on the design matrix, which provides the scheme of comparison between the different mass standards involved in the calibration. The software uses the two least squares methods most widely used in mass metrology: the weighted least squares by Lagrange multipliers and the Gauss-Markov approach.
This software is the main deliverable of the task 3.2 “Development of advanced mathematical and statistical tools for estimating results and the associated uncertainties” of the EMPIR project 19RPT02 RealMass “ Improvement of the realisation of the mass scale”.
