Tecniche IR per termometria e proprietà radiative

The laboratory realizes infrared radiance scales at 1.6 μm for the approximation of the ITS-90 between the indium and silver fixed points with an expanded uncertainty (k = 2) of 0.08 °C. It studies innovative multispectral radiation thermometry techniques (between 0.35 μm and 0.95 μm) for high temperature applications. It is active in the field of measurements of radiative properties of interest to the sector (emissivity and reflectivity) of solid materials using reflectometric measurements techniques both absolute (based on a potassium heat pipe black body reflectometer) and hybrid (comparison between black-body cavity and sample) in different spectral and temperature fields.
