The laboratory disseminates the National standards for temperature between 4 K e 273.15 K realized by fabricating cryogenic fixed point cells containing ultra-pure substances, according to the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90). Calibrations based on interpolating instruments like capsule-type standard platinum (SPRT) and rhodium-iron (RIRT) resistance thermometers are also provided. We take part into International comparisons supporting 13 calibration and measurement capabilities (CMC). We contribute to the development of technological solutions for temperature measurements in cryogenic regimes, like those required by quantum and electronic novel devices.
