The laboratory handles the dissemination of kelvin in the temperature range between -196 ° C and 1530 ° C by comparison calibration of resistance thermometers, thermocouples and combined (digital indicator with probes)  thermometric systems. We provide support to the network of accredited laboratories and periodically organize interlaboratory comparisons (ILCs) for the calibration of thermometers according to the current international standards (IEC 17043). We respond to specific needs on practical thermal metrology problems deriving from public or private stakeholders by providing specific training courses, consultancies and participation in research projects and industrial partnerships.
