The main goal of the project is to develop a practical quantum sampling electrical power standard (QPS) based on a programmable Josephson voltage standard (PJVS). This project will enable the NMIs and industrial stakeholders to establish direct traceability of electrical power and power quality measurements to the new quantum SI. The QPS is designed as an open modular system where the quantum traceability to the SI will be guaranteed through real-time calibration of its individual constituents. INRiM leads WP3 and conducts research activity on WP1 and WP2.
