From 23 to 29 August 2026, Torino will host the 75th General Assembly of CIRP – The International Academy for Production Engineering, one of the leading international events in manufacturing engineering research and innovation. The event is co-organised by Politecnico di Torino and the National Institute of Metrological Research (INRiM).
The CIRP General Assembly is the Academy’s flagship annual event, bringing together researchers, industry representatives and professionals from around the world for a week of scientific exchange, presentation of research results and new collaborations between academia and industry.
Founded in 1951, CIRP currently brings together nearly 500 Academic Members from 40 countries and more than 170 Corporate Members. The Torino edition, which coincides with the 75th anniversary of CIRP’s foundation, is expected to attract over 600 from 55 countries.
The opening plenary session will be held at the Lingotto Congress Centre, while the scientific programme will continue at Politecnico di Torino.
