The School of Metrology “Quantum Timekeepers 2025: Emerging Systems and Architectures for Atomic Clocks” is an advanced, in-person school for MSc students, PhD students & early-career postdocs interested in the fundamentals and latest developments of optical atomic clocks.
The topics covered in the school include: lattice clocks, ion clocks, nuclear clocks, transportable clocks, international clock comparisons, Rydberg dressing in tweezers, superradiance and atomic sources, cavities for optical clocks, atomic clocks in space technology.
The speakers include: Kjeld Beeks, José R. Crespo Lopez-Urrutia, Melina Filzinger, Irene Goti, Nils Huntemann, Matthew Jones, Jérôme Lodewyck, Florian Schreck, Mario Siciliani de Cumis, Alexandra Tofful.
Students are invited to present their work, the best abstracts will be selected for a short hot topic presentation.
