INRiM announces a research start-up grant titled “Work on laser systems for precision spectroscopy of atomic systems, with objectives related to quantum technologies”.
The research activity, lasting 6 months, will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Paolo Traina at the INRiM venue of Torino, and it will focus on metrology and sensing with diamond color centers or single-photon emitters.
The activity, which will last 6 months, will be carried out under the supervision of Dr. Carlo Sias, INRiM Researcher, at the INRiM venue of Sesto Fiorentino (FI). It will involve research activities aimed at developing and characterizing precise laser sources for the precision spectroscopy of barium ions.
