QuaMT-ITA is an INRiM strategic initiative to offer integrated measurement, characterization, evaluation services, and research support for the development of quantum devices and technologies. The goal is to serve the Italian and European quantum ecosystem, providing essential services to industry, research institutions and stakeholders.
QuaMT-ITA aims to enhance the competitiveness and innovation capacity of the Italian and European quantum industry by offering:
- Specialized Measurement and Testing services tailored to quantum technologies.
- Metrological traceability in quantum sensing and quantum technologies.
- Collaborative R&D support, including consultancy, co-development, and contributions to standardization and certification of quantum technologies.
QuaMT-ITA is well connected in the European research landscape. It builds on strong collaboration among National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) through EURAMET’s European Metrology Network for Quantum Technologies, and contributes to international efforts via its role in the Framework Partnership Agreement “Qu-Test”—focusing on cutting-edge quantum measurement and testing.
