The laboratory is active in research, technology transfer and calibration services in the field of vibration metrology and dynamic measurements.
The laboratory performs calibration of accelerometers and digital vibration sensors (in the frequency range between 0.1 Hz and 20 kHz) based on 17 CMCs recognized on the BIPM KCDB; it calibrates shock accelerometers and signal conditioners (ILAC Agreement). It also performs tests and calibrations of dynamic acceleration generation systems (e.g., shakers).
The laboratory is active in research and development for the measurements and tests of the elastic properties of materials using dynamic and quasi-static methods and measurements of transport properties in porous media for biomedical applications.
